Where your balance comes from
The balance is spendable credit in the account with three sources only: completed top-ups, refunds returned to the account, and commercial grants. It is tracked per original currency, never converted across currencies, and is not a credit line.
When your top-up is credited
Submitting a top-up only records the amount and channel; money does not arrive immediately. Onchain and bank transfers are confirmed by finance against the transaction hash or bank statement. The card channel is not enabled and the page says so.
What triggers a low-balance alert
Balance reminders fire on tier changes: one when the balance first drops below the warning line, another below the critical line. The same tier never repeats, and dropping again after recovery reminds again.
